Robert Orlando, writer and director of Moment in Time, heads Coppola Pictures the company that produced the feature,  formerly known for its award-winning commercials and industrials. While completing projects for clients such as Conde Nast, BET, Morgan Stanley and Donaldson, Lufkin, & Jenrette,  Robert authored numerous short and feature-length screenplays.  His first project of note was in 1991 with the completion of the award-winning, one-hour documentary, La Famiglia, the poignant story of an Italian-American family, followed by  a short film, See Her Run, which received  a grant from the New York Council on the Arts, and represented the School of Visual Arts and New York University in the Tel Aviv Film Festival.

Orlando, after traveling and studying mythology, later continued his career in film as a freelance cinematographer and editor. It was here that Robert forged a unique vision that joined cinematic forms with mythological themes. -- most notably, The Road,  published for William H. Phillips Writing Short Scripts.  In 1996, he was offered a contract by Author's Agency for his supernatural thriller, Madam Death.  His other credits include an adaptation of Mark Helprin's novel, "Soldier of The Great War, as well as the Golden Eagle Award for his short film noir parody, The Deal.  Orlando currently resides in New York as a writer and director and is in preproduction on his second feature film, The Empty Mirror.
